Our intake coordinator will work with you though our review process to ensure we have all relevant information prior to your initial consultation. We have a multitiered system of review. If you case is selected for a formal free initial consultation the attorney will have all the relevant information to make that time meaningful.
We offer a free initial consultation to discuss the specifics of your situation and determine how we can best assist you. There is no obligation to hire us following this consultation.
Under state and federal special education laws, parents who prevail at a due process hearing against their respective educational agency may be entitled to have their attorneys’ fees paid by the educational agency. With this in mind, we will advise you at our initial consult regarding the strength of your case and likelihood that the educational agency will be responsible to pay your attorneys’ fees. We strive to make our services affordable for all families, regardless of financial resources, and can offer reduced or no-cost contracts depending on your individual circumstances.
Currently, we focus on serving clients within California due to state-specific licensure and specialization in California special education law. However, we can often provide referrals to trusted colleagues in other states if needed.
